Brewer Youth Hockey is excited to announce we will be holding Tier 3 tryouts for the U10, U12, U14 & U16/U18 levels for the 2021-2022 season. We will field teams at each level if we feel we can construct competitive teams within an age group while maintaining a competitive tier 4 program.
The tryout registration deadline is Sunday March 21st at 10pm.
General Tryout Information:
Those who tryout and make a Tier III team must make a commitment to the team, their teammates, and their coaches to attend all practices, off ice training sessions and games.
The travel season is a demanding one that includes 2-3 practices per week (on ice and dryland sessions) and 28+ games (depending on league requirements). Games are played on the weekends at arenas throughtout Maine, New England and Canada. The season is six months long (October to March) and teams will typically play multiple games per weekend.
If selected to a Tier III team, we will ask each player and their family for their commitment and intention to play within 24 hours of being offered a spot, including a mandatory (and non-refundable) down payment of $200 (to be applied to next season’s tuition). Registration must be paid in full before the season starts in October.
