Brewer Youth Hockey's 14U Travel team took its talents back to Jay Peak Vermont this past weekend to compete in the Green Mountain Avalanche Tournament.

Action started Friday as the Witches squared off against the Plymouth Whalers out of Plymouth, MA. Brewer skated to a 5-1 victory.

Saturday morning action saw Brewer defeat the Vermont Black Bears hockey team by a score of 6-2. Later that afternoon the Southcoast Panthers out of New Bedford, MA and the Witches skated to a 1-1 draw. Brewer finished out round robin play in second place based on goal differential and advanced to the final.

In the championship game, Brewer faced off against previously undefeated Timberwolves Hockey and skated to a 5-1 victory. This is the 3rd consecutive tourney championship at 14U in Jay Peak.
